Something (one) I still love: Marie Forleo. A little bit of flash, but a whole lot of wisdom.
Abstruse note to self: “Have to make your own wins.”
Surprising words of the week: propinquital, calid, recrudescent. There are other words already to say these things, more commonly chosen, which is probably why I’ve not encountered these before.
A fact that pleases me: Only six of seven high rises pretend not to have a 13th floor. I thought it was all of them! Those pragmatic 14%.
This quote: “Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
i feel deep in the questions. Becalmed between a past where I always knew my next step and an uncertain future, my entire identity inchoate, and I. Hate. It. It’s uncomfortable! But the point is, to live everything.
